The Indie Only Foundation was created from DOC’s long-standing commitment to helping independent artists grow and move their careers forward. For years, DOC has mentored independent artists, sharing his experience, knowledge, and industry connections to help artists better understand the music business and navigate their careers.

Through Invite Only Studios in New York City, DOC has also provided artists with hands-on education and training in a professional studio environment. Artists have had opportunities to learn music production, songwriting, recording, audio engineering, artist development, and the business side of the music industry by working directly with experienced music professionals.

The Indie Only Foundation builds on that history by expanding these efforts and creating more opportunities for independent artists to learn, connect, create, and grow. The Foundation is committed to providing education, mentorship, resources, career-development support, industry connections, and real-world opportunities that can help artists turn their talent and passion into sustainable careers.

DOC is a longtime music industry professional and the owner of Invite Only Studios in New York City, a professional recording and music production studio where artists, producers, songwriters, and industry professionals come together to create, learn, and build.
With 39 years of experience in the music industry, DOC is passionate about helping independent artists gain the knowledge, experience, and connections they need to move their careers forward. Through Invite Only Studios and DOC Knows Music, independent artists have access to hands-on training, education, and real-world music industry experiences designed to help them become more prepared and confident in their careers.
Artists can learn from experienced music professionals through music production, songwriting, recording, audio engineering, artist development, and music business education. Training takes place in a professional studio environment, giving independent artists the opportunity to learn by doing—not just by sitting in a classroom.
